Entries to be submitted by 12 noon
Pick one horse per race per day.
Nap one horse per day.
Any selection that has a number in the race, will have that number.
Any selection that does not have a number in the race will be treat as a non runner.
Points
Points awarded as follows; 10 points for winner; 5 points for 2nd place; 3 points for 3rd place; 1 point for 4th place; 0 points for any other
Napped horse receives bonus points for WINNING based on 2x its Starting Price. EG 7/2 winner gives 7 bonus points (2x (7/2)), 4/6 winner gives 1.33 bonus points (2x(4/6)) etc
Non Runner goes onto Favourite, lowest number if joints or co.
If you nap a non-runner your nap will move down to your next selection, unless its the last race, you will then have your nap on the favourite.
If the favourite is withdrawn and the market is not reformed , the favourite will be deemed to be the shortest priced runner in the race, lowest number if joints.
Rule 4 deductions on a race will be reflected in the SP given to a winning nap
For a dead heat the points from the placings shall be added together and divided dependant on the number of horses involved in the dead heat and the placing that the dead heat was for (eg 2 horses dead heat for 1st place gives 10pts + 5pts / 2 =7.5pts each, eg 3 horses dead heat for 2nd place gives 5pts + 3pts + 1pt /3 =3pts each.
Bonus points for a napped horse involved a dead heat will be reduced dependant on the number of horses involved in the dead heat, 2 horses = x .5, 3 horses x .33, 4 horses x .25 and so on (if there are ever more than 4 horses involved in a dead heat my arse will be on show at Bon Marche's window)
Abandoned Meeting
If a meeting is abandoned all points gained will stand.
Naps for selections in abandoned races will be moved to selections in the first race run on that day.
Abandoned Race
If any races are cancelled but the meeting is not abandoned, naps will be moved to the next race run. If it is the last race, naps will be moved to the first race
Late Entry
If an entry is not received by 12 noon NO ENTRIES for that person will be given for that day.
Winner
Person with highest points score after last race on the last day of the meeting takes the pot. Dead heat, money is shared equally between winners.
